In June 2013, Sagardi and Bacardí inaugurated on the rooftop of the Museu d'Història de Catalunya –in Barcelona’s Port Vell-, as an extension of the 1881 per Sagardi restaurant, the summer terrace for the coming seasons.
1881 was the year in which the current building of Palau de Mar was built as a port warehouse and also the year in which Facundo Bacardí Massó, founder of Bacardí, got at the Matanzas Exposition the gold medal for his rum, highly prized by the ‘indianos’ who crossed the Atlantic to make good in America.
In honor to Les Indianes –the Catalan printed fabrics used as means of exchange for the overseas products that arrived to Barcelona in the late 19th century, Terrassa de Les Indianes welcomes us in a unique setting that offers the best views and the most beautiful sunsets in Barcelona.
A wonderful space boasting a chill out, elegant atmosphere decorated with style, where the best cocktails and drinks by Bacardí are combined with an excellent tapas menu designed by Sagardi. There is a DJ on Saturday night.
