Comments: Marsella is probably the oldest bar in Barcelona. A bar frequented in old times by sailors, drunkards, whores and artists, very harmed during the dictatorship and still surviving the waves and trends that invade the old red-light district. The walls exude history and the atmosphere is genuinely Bohemian, wit ha lot of smoke and noise, and attracts a very heterogeneous public. The establishment is also known because they serve real absinthe, the drink of artists and Bohemians, in the traditional way.
